Happy 2009 efurryone! I hope you had wonderful holidays. I got some fantastic presents! First my Secret Paws present came where I got tons of tasty goodies that I have been munching on efurr since. THEN my Bunny Mommy's friend brought us a plate that has a lil gray bun on it that looks just like me! So we have a pose of me with my plate. Then my cousin Giacomo brought me goodies for under the Christmas tree. People has been so generous!

Tree in the House!

Hi aminimal furriends! Now that I has finished my thank you notes from my purthday I thought I would blog about Christmas in my New York flat. Bunny Mommy and Daddy gotted their first real Christmas tree in their apartment. It was a small potted thingy for two years. They decorated it and gotted a tree skirt for it and Bunny Mommy was furry nice and hung bells around the perimeter of the tree at the bottom so I could play with them and ring them. I sure do likes to ring them (see the picture). The only problem is I am not friendly with the tree skirt. But it's not my fault! Mama knows that we buns like to make nests and pat things down and nip at them to make them the desired fluffiness. So when I gets to play we take away the skirt. In cases I don't gets to blog again afore the holidays I wanted to wish efurryone Happy Hannukah and Merry Christmas since they're both next week. Bunny Mommy says when we come back from our trip to Virginia she will helps me update my links to include my new furriends.

Guess what aminimal furriends?? Today is my 4th purthday! Bunny Mommy says that I am almost a grown-up. Bunny Daddy wished me a happy purthday this morning afore he went off to work. Bunny Mommy wished me one too but she is still here helping me type. They is already giving me treatsies, I got lots of basil yesterday and I THINK I may have smelled some cilantro in the house but I'm not sure. Hooray, I sure do love purthdays! Plus I love that my mama remembers BOTH my purthday AND my gotcha day acuz that means twice the fun!

Note from Bunny Parents: we want to wish Mrs. Sniffles a VERY happy 4th birthday. We can't believe she's already 4! We never thought Mrs. Sniffles would be so full of personality and be such a source of excitement when we first got her. Of course now, we can't imagine life without her. So happy birthday, little bunny bee, we love you.

Thanx to evfurryone for the good thoughts for my Uncle Jack the woofie. It turns out he had a light case of Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. He has never even been to the rockies!!! Maybe he snuck out one night?

The doctors say that if he keeps taking his medicine that he should get better. I hope so because Bunny Mommy and Daddy can't wait to see him come Thanksgiving.

Send Good Thoughts For Uncle Jack!!!

Hey everyone. It seems like everyone is getting sick. First my sweet sweet boy bun Orlando was a little under the weather. Bunny Mommy, however, heard through the berryvine that he is doing a bit better, which makes me feel much much better.

Now my uncle jack it pretty ill and is currently in the pupper hospital. He had to go in because he lost his spunk and had a bad bad fever. He was sitting under the covers shaking he was so feverish. They have given him liquids and lots of meds, but he still can't keep food down. The vets have done all sorts of bloodwork and have no clue what is the matter. They are beginning to worry that it may not be a virus, but they don't know. The vets don't even want my grandbuns to visit him, as they fear it may be too stressful...

If everyone could send a get better thought his way, it would be greatly appreciated.

Well aminimal friends I have good news. Bunny Mommy and Daddy are on wedding furlough until MARCH. That means 6 whole months where I return to being the center of their world. It is about time acuz my 4th purthday is coming up in a little over a month and I suspect they will need that time to figure out the perfect purresent for me. In the meantime I have been trying to get their attention so they let me out more. I realize that it could be considered bad behavior to try to eat the carpet, but they must understand that I needs my Mommy and Daddy time! I am an only bun, after all. The even gooder news is that soon Mommy will be on winter break and that means she'll be home LOTS for like a WHOLE MONTH and we can play together. Hopefully she'll let me visit all my furriends to see how they are doing! How long is long enough to act like a naughty teenager until I act all binkies again?

Hai everyone!!

I just wanted to pop in and say hello. Busy times around our house, but the bunny parents assure me that this is the last of the weddings, until next year. Yes it is frustrating, but i lay on the guilt trip for the bunny parents.

I mean today, as Bunny Daddy was running around getting dressed for Court, I would bound out of my box to the door of my cage everytime he came in the room. I would then run from one side of the cage to the other following him. I don't think he wanted to leave me!! When he comes home and lets me out, i think i will ignore him to show him who is the boss.

Oh and i heard this crazy rumor around the apartment. My Bunny Parents must have gone cookoo. I believe i heard something that they were applying to rescue a sister for me. What was odd about the conversation i heard was that it sounded like it was a woofie sister, something about a french woofie. Her parents abandoned her and she has been living well with a chinchilla.

Did i ever tell you the story about my Uncle Jack? You see, Bunny Daddy's mum in Ohio adopted him. He was about a year old when Bunny Daddy's cousin saw this adorable Jack Russel in the park. Bunny Daddy's cousin kept an eye on him and kept going back to the park to check on him. Evidently, some mean person dumped Uncle Jack in the park. (From what Bunny Daddy has told me, it also seems like they really smacked him around too. He gets really scared if you have a stern voice and move your hand at all.)

Bunny Daddy's cousin eventually coaxed Uncle Jack over to her and took him home. She scoured the papers to make sure no one was looking for him. That is when Bunny Daddy's mum adopted him!!! He lived with Bunny Daddy's mum for a couple years until Bunny Daddy's mum. When Bunny Daddy's mum became ill with cancer, you really saw how great a woofie Uncle Jack was.

During all the treatments and her subsequent decline, Uncle Jack never left her side. He always went to check on her and would snuggle in close to her. Even when people came over, he had to know that she was ok. Uncle Jack even took to sleeping in her special room right beside the bed when she became too ill to leave the bed. He refused to even go out to the bathroom, save once or twice a day. He stayed right by her side until she passed. When she did, he knew something was wrong and wimpered and did not want to leave. He kept nudging her hands, hoping that she would somehow wake back up. After that, he never went back into that room.

It was then that Uncle Jack went to live with Bunny Mommy's parents, my grandbuns in Virginia. They never had a woofie, and Uncle Jack showed them the ropes of owning a woofie. When they don't feel good, he makes sure to give extra snuggles. He gets soooo excited when he gets to see Bunny Daddy. He bounces all around. I got to meet Uncle Jack a few months ago, and while he is too hyper to be around me, i do get why everyone loves him.

Uncle Jack is why the Bunny Parents want to adopt this little french woofie. Every amininal deserves a good loving home. I know they give me a good home and would do the same for this woofie, plus i get to be a big sister like Fiona. (sorry Lando teehee).

So we shall see where this rumor goes... maybe nowhere, maybe to getting a little sister. That is the great thing about life, you never know where it will take you!

Back to School and Purthday Month

Hi everyone!!!

Lets see, not much going on in my world...Mama started back to school, Daddy was sick again and sounded horrible. (I am glad to say he is all better now). The 'rents had yet another wedding to go to last week. At least this one they could go to via bus and did not have to find me a bunnysitter. They tell me only two more in the next month. (I think they are just professional wedding attenders...)

Oh yeah and it is Daddy's purthday month. I have to surprise him and find a good gift for him. I was thinking perhaps banana chips, craisins or some of this yummy hay. Daddy always gets mine there. They have this new hay that has rose hips and chamomile flowers with clovers and such. I tell you it is quite yummy. I reeeeealllly love the clover flowers!!!

I don't know how old he is going to be though. He won't tell me. It's not like he doesn't know that I will be a big girl this November when I turn 4. hrrrrumph.

Sorry there are no pictures. I sent this to the 'rents to be posted via email. I told one of them to upload some pictures when they get home tonight. Lets see... if they don't i may have to chomp something!!

New Furriends!

Hello to my aminimal furriends!
Bunny Mommy and Daddy just got back from their trip to OH-IO where they visited their furriends Ryan and Hayley.Bunny Mommy saw a Great Lake for the first time and she and Daddy shopped at Target, which is a treat because they don't have a Target in the Big City.

I was bunny sat by my auntie JD. She took furry good care of me and gave me pets for 15 minutes... IN A ROW. For TWO days! I like her and told Mama that she has to watch me again soon.

While they were in OH-IO they met Hayley's dog Biggie. Here is a picture of him. He is FURRY cute (for a pupper) and got along with Bunny Daddy furry much. They also met a pupper named Tannor. I don't has a picture of him but he is the biggest dog Mama says she has ever seen. He is a lab but she thinks he is secretly a pony with a haircut.

This weekend Bunny Mommy and Daddy have ANOTHER wedding but they promised to play with me lots this week so I don't feel abandoned. I hope efurryone has a nice long weekend and that you are all doing furry well!!

Lazy Days of Summer

Hello aminimal friends!!!

It has been quite a lazy summer for me. I haven't got to travel much, as Momma and Daddy have had 843 weddings to attend this year. They are so busy these days that we haven't got to go to the Grandbuns house or anything. So I am just lounging here in NYC.

Momma and Daddy tell me that they are going to Cleveland here in a couple weeks. Daddy's bestestest friend got married and they are having a big party to celebrate. They said something about having roast beast or hams or something. I have only been to OH - IO once. (I don't understand why Daddy always says it like that.) One of my favoritest people is taking cares of me while they are there. I bet i get extra treats!!!

Whose Independence is it, Anyway?

Hello fellow aminimal furriends!

Mrs. Sniffles here to ponder the state of independence. Sure, everyone is getting ready to celerate the day that we became the United States of America, but really, whose independence is it anyway?

You see, Bunny Mommy and Daddy are flying to Houston for the weekend to attend a wedding. Now normally this would call for a friend visit or granbun visit to takes care of me, but since it's a holiday, Bunny Mommy and Daddy are sending me to............. the V-E-T!! Granted I have never been boarded before in my 4+ years of life, and Bunny Mommy keeps telling me that we love our vet and if you can't trust the vet, who can you trust? But I am wondering... is she just mad at me because I didn't post on her purthday a couple of weeks ago? It wasn't my fault Bunny Daddy was sick and couldn't help me on the puter!

Hello efurryone!

Mrs Sniffles bright and shiny and without a runny nose here! It's been a whole week since I've been taking medicine and it's been great. I must admit I miss snuggling up to my Bunny Daddy (even though I'd never tell him that) but I am glad not to have that medicine anymore. Cherry flavored, my foot! Bunny Mommy is home for the next few days before her internship starts next week so we get to play for extra long times. She is laughing acuz now she has a runny nose and is on medicine that makes her sleepy and take afternoon naps just like us buns do.

I also wanted to take a moment to tell efurryone to visit Archie's Mum. She lost her bun Archi Ann, who we loved furry much. You can find the link to her page here on my site.

Bunny Mommy reminded me that I had to write a thank you note to efurryone who has been checking up on me and my runny nose. Well THANK YOU. I am slowly getting better. I has to get new medicine acuz my runny nose came back today, but the vet isn't worried since my tests didn't show anything serious. The good news is I eats my food and my hay and I has lots of spunk. Really the hardest part is on daddy. He gets a little bit scratched up when he tries to give me my medicine. Fruit flavored my bunny butt! But Mama cut my nails and so I has been much better. Plus being sick has meant that I gets more floor time with Mommy and Daddy and I likes that a lot. Anyway, enough about me, I need to visit efurryone else's blogs! I hope efurryone is doing well, I will visit you soon!

Hai everyone!!!!

Bunny Mommy and Daddy made me stay in all weekend because of my lil cold. I thought I would catch up on posting on your blogs. But the intratubes were broken. Daddy told me it was from the other buns who chomped through the wires. I don't know whether to believe him or not. At least the TV was broken too. I had to secretly laugh when the 'rents could not watch their TV. I hopes to visit all of you soon!!!

Oh yeah... the V -- E -- T. ( See Mommy, I can speel) Dr. Martin, my lovely Irish veterinarian called bunny daddy today. She said that my nose swab, (that was so not fun) came out. Dr. Martin said that I had a non-specific bacterial infection that caused my sneezing and runny nose. It wasn't any of those bad things that Bunny Mommy and Daddy were worried about.

I still have to take my medicines too make sure that I am ok and it does come back...errrggg. Well that is all for now!!!! Thanks for stopping by!!!

Hello all,

Mrs. Sniffles asked me to have everyone send good vibes her way. She thinks her bunny parents are worrying to much about her...

She did get a lil bit more sniffly overnight but she has gotten her dose of antibiotics last night and this morning.

As she mentioned, she had to go back to the vet yesterday. The vet poked, prodded, and took a nose swab of the lil girl, who was not very happy. She was started on fruit flavored Baytril, while the nose swab is cultured. The vet did not seem that alarmed, as we caught it very early. The vet commented that we knew she was sick before she really manifested any symptoms. (Mrs. S just says it is b/c she has such great bunny parents and just know when she is off.)

Mrs. S doesn't like to take her meds... (does any bun?) She even managed to give bunny daddy a good nip this morning to show her displeasure. The evening dose we can add as salad dressing to the food. It is the morning dose with no food that is causing the trouble. Even the bunny burrito doesn't really work... How do you buns prefer a syringe full of stuff to be given?

Some (almost) Gotcha Day

Hello my aminimal furriends. Well it is not my finest hour here in the big city... and just in time for my Gotcha Day! I had been sneezing a lil bit lately so Bunny Mommy and Daddy got me checked out to make sure it wasn't anything serious. I got a good bill of health and had good teeth and fur and ears and nose and belly. So Bunny Mommy and Daddy thought that I was sneezing acuz it's been dustier acuz the window's been open to get fresh air inside or maybe because I've been shedding my winter coat. But just to be safe Bunny Mommy and Daddy decided to keep a special watch. Bunny Mommy got morning duty and Daddy got night time. Well Bunny Mommy was up soooooooooooooooper early for school today and noticed that I had a runny nose. So now I have to go BACK to the vet so they can make sure it doesn't become serious. Bunny Mommy was worried but Bunny Daddy was furry reassuring and he is gonna try to come home from work special to come with us to the vet. Luckily the vet is furry nice and complimented me on my soft, soft fur. But not to worry, I has all my usual spunk. I followed Daddy around this morning and have been noshing on my hay. So we thinks my runny nose won't be a big deal, just glad we caught it early. I don't think I am contagious so I hopes that you will all still come to visits me on my Gotcha Day this Thursday.

Where Has I Been?

Hi aminimal friends! Bunny Mommy has of course returned and it has been busy since she's been back from her trip to Romaynia and Bullgareia. First, I had to ignore her so she didn't suspect I missed her. Then I had to snuggles with her and let her pet me so she could make up for the snuggles she missed. Then it was EASTER and I had to tells all the people to buy their chocolate bunnies. NOW it is almost time for my GOTCHA DAY. My Gotcha Day is on April 17th and Bunny Mommy and Daddy are furry acited. I think they mights give me a present or something. And I know I owes you some picashurs just to minds you that I'm WAY cuter than that koala. I hopes to visit your sites soon!

Let me recap for the aminal friends out there: Mama leaves on Friday afternoon; Takes the camera; Doesn't call.

That pretty much sums up everything. I was all set to do my photo shoot -- and then realized that I had no camera. To top it off, Mama has not called to talk to me even once... I know she texted to say something about losing her luggage getting lost then founded. If you ask me, I thinks she is losing her mind.

Daddy and I are having fun though. I decided that I needed to dig at him when he is trying to watch the noos to make him pay more attention to me. As soon as he begins to pet me, I hop away. It is a fun game!

Since I do not have any picts --- I decided to post this. Daddy thought it was almost as cute as I am. Enjoy!!

Oh boy! And Happy Valentine's Day

Well aminimal friends, I am sorry it has been so long since I posted. It has been a furry busy time these days. Bunny Daddy is working furry hard at work and Bunny Mommy has been interviewing for summer jobs. I have been fine. I am living in my cage still but it's in a new part of the apartment so I have been sniffing around the new area to make sure I haven't missed anything. Plus I gots a new kinda hay that I am dying to check out. It smells FURRY numbly. And I has been using my Beauxbatons Snuggle from DKM to keep my cage warm during these cold weeks. We has also been keeping up on all the swell woofies who were competing at the Westminster Dog Show. Hopefully Bunny Mommy will find her summer job soon so that she can helps me post more often.

Not much is happening since 2008 began. Bunny Daddy is working furry hard and Bunny Mommy is, well, um, on the computer lots. And she is NOT sharing. But she did take some cute pictures of me that I wanted to share. Oh Oh I do have news that my Auntie Jill is coming to visit this weekend. She is one of Bunny Mommy's college friends who loves me and plays with me a lot. She even brought my bunny crack for Christmas! Ok, I am going to take a nap now.

5. I have one Uncle Jack, a woofy, three woofie cousins Simon, Ernie and Cletus, and two bun cousins Pepper and Giacomo. Simon and Giacomo will be visiting for the holidays.

1) He has a beard

3) He knows what Bunny Mommy does before she does it (like he guesses his presents and knows that she puts ziploc bags full of tea bags in his briefcase)

The Holidays Have Begun

Hi efurryone! The holidays have officially begun in my family so I thought I would share some news. First, we gotted a tree. Well, it's sorta like a tree. But Bunny Mommy decorated it and I have already inspected it. We gots a small apartment here in the big city so a small tree goes a long way. Plus Bunny Daddy cookeded a tasty holiday dinner. I even got to eat the garnish! AND it snowed today. Finally, I thought I would post some pictures from my purthday - WITHOUT my present. I am told I will have it at Christmas, though.

On this Thanksgiving weekend, Bunny Mommy and Daddy have taken over the site to wish our adorable sweet and mischievous Mrs. Sniffles a happy 3rd birthday. We are very thankful to have her to make our lives interesting. Attached is a little card for her. Birthday pictures will be forthcoming. For not letting me on the puter to post and to let me see how all my aminimal friends are doing. She says to bear with her. I don't know what she wants to do with a bear because they are scary, but I think it means that she's going to try to help me catch up soon. In the meantime I thought I would voice my acitement that in only 11 days (November 24th) it will be my THIRD purthday! I am so acited acuz Mommy keeps talking about the bunny castle and I reaaaalllyyyy hope she gets it for me.

Kickin' It OLD School

Bunny Mommy found a memory card today that had old videos of me binkying around. Bunny Daddy helped her put them on the computer so that I could share them! Here is one of them for your viewing pleasure.

So things in the big city are fine - but Bunny Mommy isn't home a lot and Bunny Daddy has had a lot of work to do too. I would like some more play time but I am assured this won't last much longer. Luckily my pal JD is coming over on Tuesday to play with me and Mommy. I like her. She always sits on the floor with me. A little something to do then at least. Sigh...

Mommy says she is gonna have her playdate with Hops' Mama soon so that means that we'll get to have our bun playdate soon too!

Hello efurryone! I hope you are all enjoying your weekends. It is a very fun Saturday here in the big city. Bunny Mommy and Daddy have let me out to roam around so I have been binkying a lot. An advice to all buns out there: the couch is a WONDERFUL place to binky. Bunny Mommy wants to get pictures of me darting back and forth and hopping up, down, and sideways, but I'm just too fast for her. So you'll have to take my word for it. It's SUPER fun. I even binkied into Mommy! She liked it though. This is a great change from last week when they manicured me. Anyways, I'm gonna see if she'll give me some ice cream now. It sure smells good! Maybe it's just the cardboard container it comes in.

Snuggles for Muggles!!!

Some of you may remember the Snuggles for Muggles auction that DKM ran a while back. Well Bunny Mommy was the proud winner of the Beauxbatons snuggle, which arrived just a day or so ago. We have firmly integrated it into our decor and Bunny Mommy is snuggling up to it when Bunny Daddy runs the air thingy too high. I have fully explored and sniffed it. PLUS it came with a special card, which my sweet boybun Lando autographed for me. And another plus it came with this new kinda bunny crack I has never seen before. THEY ARE BACK

I thought I would let everyone know that Bunny Mommy and Bunny Daddy are back!!!

While I am very happy to see them, I cannot let them know that. I refuse to acknowledge them. When I am in my cage, I sit with my back to them to punish them for leaving me. Even when they let me out, I did not grace them with any nose bumps or flop out next to them on the couch. I will show them! I wouldn't even let them show me piktures.

As to my antics while they were gone, I chewed the plastic wire tie that holds my litter box in the cage and then tipped the box over! I then tipped my nest box over as well. I made a nice mess of the place.

I promises to post some piktures once they are uploaded to the internet thingy.

PS: To Hops: I see you are enjoying your new digs. Hope your mom makes it through the orientation thingy ok! Bunny Mommy told me that she was gonna be busy all week. This after leaving me for a week!

Boy it is hot here in New York! Hops, I hope you're not sweltering since your move! I spend most of my days home with Bunny Mommy sleeping or relaxing in my nest box. The flat is fully air conditioned of course but I like to think it's hot so I can hang out more. Bunny Mommy says she wishes she had a picture of me sleeping in my box but that the flashy thingy would disturb me and she doesn't want to do that.

So on Saturday Bunny Mommy and Daddy head off on a trip that is kinda business kinda vacation. Bunny Mommy's Mommy will be watching me and even letting me out since they're gone for a week. They've never left me for this long and Granbun has never let me out all by myself. I wonder what kind of mischief I can cook up.

Any suggestions? I'm especially thinking of you, Rabbie Burns!

So Bunny Mommy has been home with me for the last couple of weeks acuz she took off 5 weeks before she goes back to school on August 20th. It has been furry nice having her around, though that doesn't mean I've stopped my usual shi-nanna-gans (that's what she says, at least). I still like to dig out my box when it looks like Daddy's leaving. I dig and dig at my litter box, then it gets filled back up, then I dig and dig again, then I get sprayed with the water bottle, then I shake off the water, then I dig at the box, then Mommy says "oh fine then!" and leaves me with an empty box. Then I go much on my cardboard. I like this routine. I will be furry sad when it ends and she goes back to school. All for now!

Hooray! Bunny Mommy and Daddy are back! Bunny Daddy's brofur gotted married this weekend so he and Mommy were in OH-IO for a few days. My auntie friend M.A. took cares of me. She was furry nice, she even hung out at the apartment, she didn't just feed me and leave. I still gave my parents the butt though for leaving me. They did get to do tons of cool things though. I'll upload the pictures once Mommy puts them on the puter, but they met their new nephew woofy Cletus and Daddy's new fluffy brofur Bones. OH and they met some goats and some calves at a dairy farm! One of them even tried to eat my momma's skirt! Bunny Daddy said some goat slobbered all over it. But anyway, that's where I've been. Living in my flat while they were away. I'll show some pictures soon! For now just a picture of me getting my favorite scritches.

Today my Thursday Thirteen is a little late acuz I had another visitor! My friend JD came to see me and have num nums Thai food with Bunny Mommy and Daddy. Since I've had TWO visitors I thought I would make it my Thursday Thirteen.

Binkies efurryone, Auntie Jill is here! Bunny Mommy has her 5th year college reunion this weekend (whoa!) and Auntie Jill is staying with us for a few days. It is furry exciting to have a visitor, especially one who likes me so much. :) As a thank you present she even gave us neat note pads personalized with MY picture and name on them! It's super cool. I hope I get to roam around and play with her some time.

Otay so I know it's been a long time since I posted. But you may notice from my counter that I was in Savannah! Bunny Mommy and Daddy took me on a trip to visit my granbuns and so they could have a nice vaycayshun after a long winter and spring. We had a furry nice time! There was golf, fishing, swimming, shopping, and playing with me and Jack. But not together. Jack doesn't quite appreciate how great we buns are if ya know what I mean. Here are some pictures from the trip that we thought you might enjoy!

Here is a picashur from the golf course where Bunny Daddy and Grandundaddy and Bunny Mommy played.

These are two of the buns who are residents of the Crab Shack. Huh you say? Yeah acuz efurryone (well, not me) went to this restaurant called the Crab Shack. It is a furry fun place - they even have a website. Well so they also have a lolligator lagoon and then after the lagoon Bunny Mommy found the rabbit warren! They take care of like 10 bunnies! Bunny Mommy said she melted when she saw them. They seemed to be well cared for but she says she still wanted to take them home.

Otay this is one of the fish they caught. Isn't it scary? It's much bigger than me!

And this is the lighthouse at Tybee Island. Bunny Mommy and Daddy had a nice day on the beach. It is the island where the Crab Shack is located.

And here is Jack... asleep! Isn't my uncle so cute?! He seems to be furry happy and Bunny Mommy's parents house. He gets to take long walks and some say he is even more spoiled than Bunny Mommy! (that's a furry big deal).

And last but not least this is the creek behind the house. It is protected land so there are all sortsa neat aminimals who live in it - like fishies who binky, froggies, crabbies, and sometimes even lolligators!

1. I have visited three states outside my home - Virginia, Georgia, and Ohio.
2. I am not a big fan of sweets - only bunny crack.
3. I don't really like people food - except chex. I ated a teeny piece of a chex once and I liked it. I had my whole face in the bag!
4. I have never been married despite being a Mrs. but my heart does belong to Orlando Bun
5. I have escaped from my flat... twice! But that was cuz it was a temporary cage. The first time I scared the bananas out of mommy and she called Bunny Daddy to come fix my cage at 4:30 in the morning and he had to come from New Jersey to rescue us!
6. I do not like the sounds and smells and sights of cooking. Whenever I am romping around, once I know that stove is on I run and hide.

More Travels for Mrs. Sniffles

Hi effuryone, you may have noticed that it's been a while since I posted. I just gotted back last night from a big long trip to Ohio. We DROVE there but luckily I got to travel in my flat instead of my small carrier. I was furry happy to meet my Bunny Daddy's brofur and Daddy and also my cousin Ernie and cousin Pepper. You members Ernie, right? Well look how big he is now! Unfortunately we haded to go there for a sad reason. Bunny Daddy's Mommy, my granbun, wented to the people bridge last week. She had been furry sick and is now at peace but we are of course furry sad. The one nice thing was Bunny Mommy gotted to see all sortsa pictures of Bunny Daddy when he was a lil guy. He was a furry cute towheaded boy. We'll have to show you pictures when they are scanned. Also we got to spend a little bit of time with Bunny Daddy's best friend and his girlfriend. And my Bunny Mommy's parents are going to take in little Jack, granbun's dog. But now we are back in New York just taking things one day at a time. We are going on vacation to Savannah soon so we will have some time to relax... including me who until tonight hadn't gotten a romp outside the flat in SIX HOLE DAYS. Welcome to my Gotcha Day Party!

First of all - thanks to my Bunny Mommy and Daddy for letting me have a party since I've never had them afore.

Second - thanks to efurrybody for coming. It means so much to me to have my friends come to see me - Bunny and Winnie I understand why you can't come, you take care of those little buns! - plus I am so happy to make new furriends!

SO we got lotsa stuff here. Lots bunny toys like wicker tunnels, hay balls and baskets, rattles, and apple sticks and willow balls. For the kitties, Bunny Mommy wented to the store and got fevver toys, scratching posts, and toys with bells on them. Plus we've always got lotsa cardboard and boxes around for people to hang out in.

Plus in the middle of my living room is the cofffeee table covered with treats. Yups, that's a whole bowl of catnip leaves! See them below for both buns and fluffies!

Last but not least, in case you live in a place with
lotsa rain and wet stuff, I got a boat to take to you my house!

Late Nite Monday Bunday

Monday Bunday was offline today acuz I am getting ready for tomorrow's Gotcha Day party. The one thing I can report is that I got brushed yesterday and got my nails trimmed in honor of the event. Bunny Mommy and Daddy thought I knew I had a big event coming up because I was very well behaved and didn't squirm and sat still almost the whole time. Then Bunny Mommy said she almost fainted acuz she took my front paw in her hand to hold onto it so she could trim my nails (she holds onto them so that my little toes don't twist) and she contends that when she put her finger under my paw, I grabbed hold of it with my little toes. She said babies do that when they are little. I say that despite my loving nature that was WAY too mushy a gesture. I'll leave that to you to decide. ;)

I hope that efurryone who celebrates had a nice Easter. Technically we don't really celebrate it in my house, but it is one of my favorite days because Bunny Mommy and Daddy view it as a day to celebrate us buns. I even got a piece of BUNNY CRACK.

In other news, I am proud to announce I have a new cousin! His name is Giacomo - Jack for short. And he is all white. Bunny Mommy's cousin got him a few days ago for her triplet girls. Now before you get worried because technically he is an Easter bun, Mommy's cousin has had rabbits before and takes furry good care of them. She even gave Mommy advice before she got me! And the girls have met me many times and have always been furry nice to me.

Once I get some pictures of him you can bet I will post them. Plus there's a new picture of me munching on some mint that Bunny Mommy needs to put on the computer so she can post that too.

OH and Bunny Daddy says that if I want I can have a party for my Gotcha Day. Would there be any interest in teleporting to the Big City? If the numbers are good, I can have one! And if you are not a bun, please give me a shopping list because Bunny Mommy doesn't really know what Fluffies like (other than ham and shrimp, which she learned from Sammy and Miles).

Sorry for a belated Monday Bunday post, efurryone, Bunny Mommy hasn't been feeling great so I didn't bother her for the 'puter. She stayed home from work today to rest up and rest her voice so she told me I could post now.

Hopefully Bunny Mommy can have the new profile pic posted in time for Easter. Now we are firm believers that people shouldn't just get a bun because it's Easter without knowing all the facts first, but I sure do like seeing buns all over the place. DADDY'S HOME!!!!!!!!! I am so acited! Well, I had to pretend like it was any other day when he walked in but I think I will show him lots of cuddles later today. Bunny Mommy is furry happy too. She was sad she couldn't get out to Oh-io to be with him. But we had a nice time together and I got to see my grandadbun who was putting together a big woody cabinet that I was looking at last night.

In other news, when Bunny Daddy was in Oh-io he met my new cousin PEPPER. PEPPER came to my Bunny Uncle acuz his previous owners could not take care of him. Now he lives with my cousin Ernie. Here is a picture of him. He is a little nervous but Daddy took furry good care of him and bought him all the bunny essentials while he was visiting. Welcome to the family, Pepper!

PS The pillow tastes fabulous. I highly recommend it and couch licking. Well, any kinda licking works for me. I'm not put off by much.

Mommy's staying!!! It is furry yuck weather here and the airplane peoples canceled her flight. I am happy she will be here but she is furry, furry sad that she can't be with Daddy. She knows it is the right thing to do acuz the weather is furry bad and the airplane peoples are being smart but she still feels terribles she missed this trip to OH-IO. Even the new nail polish she bought didn't make her smile. I think I will play with her to make her feel better. And I am posting this adorables picture of me licking a pillow to make her feel better too.

Bunny Daddy's Stand-In

Hi efurryone! Thank you all for such nice posts, I love hearing from my aminimal friends. Today officially begins home with mama time. Bunny Daddy goes to OH-IO today and then Bunny Mommy follows on Saturday. But don't worry, I won't be all alone over the weekend. My granbuns (on Mommy's side) will come visit me.

I also wanted to present to you my friend Eddie who will be Daddy's main stand-in while he is gone. He is a furry nice monkey who came to our house even before I did! Daddy brought him home as a purthday gift for Mommy - only she didn't realize it when he slipped it in bed with her. While she was asleep, she snuggled right up to him without even noticing! We still laugh at her for that. Anyway, I thought I would introduce you to him.

I have been tolded by bunny daddy's bestester's friend's girlfriend that I
need to post more. Hear that bunny parents?

So an update about my life ... I have been really cuckoo bananas laterly.
I have been dumping my litter box and then eating the box itself. I also
have discovered there are a lot of roots in my territory, especially behind
the tv stand.

I never noticed them before acuz the bunny rents put boxes and such in
front of them. Or maybe they justed growed fast. So I have been trying to
get back there to chew the roots. Every time I do... Somebody yells at me.
Can you believe it? I am doing them a favor and I get yelled at?
Hrrrumph.

Bunny Daddy is going back to OH-IO this week to see my granbun. He is
going for like 5 days... 5 days without him. That's too long for me. I
will miss u Bunny Daddy. Bunny Mommy says she is gonna miss him too and
wonders how many stuffed aminimals she'll have to pile into bed to make it
seem like he's there. I tolded her I would sleep in the bed with her but
she said she's afraid she'd roll over me.

Spring Time Sillies

Bunny Mommy and Daddy are having quite a time with me these days. I got to come out for super long last night and it was furry fun, both of them played with me and gave me lots of pets. I only tried to get back behind the bunny proofing a couple of times and only succeeded once. But like last year, when the weather started to warm up and it looked like maybe spring was coming, I am shaking things up a bit. Going cuckoo bananas in my cage and stuff like that. That's gotten me grounded a bit, but I don't mind cuz it means the warmer weather is coming. And now that Bunny Mommy has her new computer I can show you some new pictures!

Hi efurryone. My Bunny Parents and I have made up. It seems that some of my bad move stemmed from the fact that I needed a manicure, I tend to get a little feisty when that happens. After a little squirming I realized that I was very happy to get my manicure. I even ate the bribe of bunny crack afterwards, stayed away from the floor molding I'd been munching. and cuddled up with Mommy and let her pet me for quite a while.

AND in happy news, Bunny Mommy's new computer finally came. You'll remember her olded one gotted stolen at the airport and she had to rewrite half her business school essays. It is very nice and I think will show off pictures of me quite well. Once we load up some pictures that is.

It is one thing to leave me for three days to visit grandbun in Oh-hi-oh. I know that is very important and I like when my other grandbuns visit me. But it is QUITE another to leave me AGAIN for the evening while you go out to dinner and listen to live music with your friends not one day after you came home. You thought I was mad on Monday! Well they have FINALLY relinquished the computer and it's about time! I thought they would at least get off the darn thing since the Sooper Bowl was on but no! And there are definitely things to talk about! Since I last posted this very wretched alien invader decided to attach itself to my butt. It was very ouchy and Bunny Mommy and Daddy had to each try very sweetly to take it off and then dispose of the icky spiky things. Here is a picture of that yucky thing.

I have also been a very curious bun lately, going into places where I didn't normally venture. Bunny Daddy says it's purrplexing. Bunny Mommy says I always was a curious one - and thinks about when I first came to live with her and I hopped out of my temporary flat.

AND I found out I get to go to Chateau Sniffles in the spring. Bunny Mommy and Daddy are taking me to Georgia again where I get to run around the big fun empty room. I will take lots of pictures of all the fun things I see.

Last but not least, here are some recent pictures of me taken with the new flashy thingy. This flashy thingy goes GREEN and not RED like the last one. Bunny Mommy loves her new flashy thingy so there is a lot to share.

MOMMY'S HOME

Bunny Mommy is at home today with me. She doesn't have to go to work because of the holiday. She says that Martin Luther King was very, very important in our history. I think he must be if it means a whole day off for Mommy. On Saturday, I got my manicure and boy was I not happy about it. I gave them the big thump so everyone would know just how mad I was. Well that thump worked because I got LOADS of pets for the rest of the day. Bunny Mommy says that because she is home she will let me run around nice and early today. Residual guilt from receiving the thump, I think. Bunny Mommy and Daddy are still sharing the computer but we do have a new picture to share from the new flashy thingy. Hopefully Bunny Mommy will get her new laptop at the end of the month so that I can post more!

I hope that everyone had a cozy and present-filled holiday and New Year. We had a very busy holiday and are happy that 2007 has begun. It had its highs and lows. First, Bunny Mommy's digital camera and laptop were stolen from her baggage and she lost lots of stuff she needed for business school. While she and Bunny Daddy traveled to Oh-HI-Oh to visit Bunny Daddy's mommy, I stayed in Chateau Sniffles with my grandbuns and other family. I got LOTS of love and attention and then I got my AWESOME presents when Bunny Mommy and Daddy came back. It was ALL edible. It had hay and hay cubes and a rattle and it was ALL in a yummy box. Then we went home to New York and Bunny Daddy's bestest friends came to town for New Year's and we had a very nice start to 2007. On New Year's Day I got to hop around for 7 binky-filled hours!!!!!! Bunny Mommy has gotten a new camera but since she and Bunny Daddy are sharing a computer it may be a bit tough to post our first pics of 2007 but we promise to do it soon in celebration of my 5000th hit.

I am so excited because my buddy MERLIN from the Poiland Tribe in Hawaii sent me the awesomest Secret Paws presents! He even tossed in a few things for Bunny Mommy and Daddy. I can't decide what my favorite present is cause they were all so awesome. I will say that I did not waste a second with those apple timothy bites. I recommend them to every bun out there. So my Bunny Mommy is back home after trying to go back to work yesterday when she was under the weather. She went to the doctor again today since she was making all sortsa weird noises and luckily the doctor said she doesn't have noo-mone-ya, just bronchiasaurus or something sounding funny. Even though she feels sad she has to miss a concert with Bunny Daddy and a cookie party with her friends, I sure am happy to have her be with me all the time... even if she does stare when I'm asleep. Purthday and Thanksgifing

My Bunny Parents are back, hooray!!! My Bunny Daddy says thank you to everyone who left such nice comments on the blog. He said that all your kind words musta done something because he and Bunny Mommy didn't have ANY trouble traveling and Bunny Mommy is usually a jinx. They said the visit was pretty good even though it was a emergencee. They met Bunny Daddy's uncle Jack (see in the first picture).

Then they met Bunny Daddy's nephew Ernie (see the second picture).

I was very sad I did not get to meet them but I did have my Bunny Grans on Mommy's side taking care of me. They did a very good job. They didn't just come in and feed me, they spent time with me and even remembered to wish me a happy purthday! When they came back, Bunny Mommy and Daddy gave me a super birthday party, I got to run around for practically the WHOLE DAY. Here are some pictures of me from my special day with my new presents.

Hey everyone-- it is thanks-a-giving again. I thought I would list some things that I am thanksful for.

1. Bunny Mommy and Bunny Daddy -- They are the bestester bunny parents that a bun could ever have. While I know i give them trouble every now and again, I only do it because I love them soooo much.

2. My nice flat -- I have a very nice flat. During the winter, the Bunny Parents put a roof on my flat so I stay warm and don't get too drafty (another reason to love them). My flat is nice and cozy, but not cozy like the way the real estate people say cozy, rather it is home--and I LOVE it.

3. My Amininal Blogging Friends AND my Boybun Orlando!!!!!! -- I can't wait to read about your lives, as it helps me understand the lives of other amininals in places I will never go. I love all of my friends soo very much. And well 'Lando, he is cute, thoughtful, and entertaining.

4. Hay, Greens, Cilantro, Rosemerry, Basil, Bananas, Apples, and all things yumbly-- What more can i say other than Yummo!!! (hehehe)

There is, however, some sad news on the home front. My purthday is on Friday and the Bunny Parents have to postpone my party until Sunday this year. Bunny Daddy's momma is really really really sick. He (and Bunny Mommy) had to book an emergency flight to OH -- IO to spend time with his momma. I wished I could go acuz I have never been there and I want to give her nose bumps to make her feel better.... and to give them to Bunny Daddy to help him.

Sorry I have not posteded so much lately-- but i gots lots to say to make up for it.

Things have been crazy at the flat for the last week. And that isn't exactly a good thing... (taking note Bunny Mommy and Bunny Daddy?) First, last Thursday the Bunny 'Rents went to some Bob Dee-lan tribute-- whatever that is. Anyways Daddy came home sooper a'cited. He said that the show was binkierific. He that this guy Phil Leash was there, as well as his favorite artist Ryan Adams. Oh they even let a kittie sing-- Cat Power. He said she sounded like an alley cat. He even found sooper secret footage of Ryan Adams' song. He said that they took his flashy thingy so he couldn't take pictures. Here is -- can't see very well but you can hear it.

Then as if staying away from me ALLLLLLL Thursday night wasn't bad enough-- they left me on Saturday. Bunny Daddy had to go see another show. This time is was Lauren Shera (he said to listen to Bloodlust) and Neal Casal. I haven't heard Lauren Shera yet, Bunny Daddy won't bring the CD home from work. Here is a video of Neal Casal covering "Dear John" by Ryan Adams. I like this song and sit real still so i don't miss any of it.

AND IF THAT WASN'T ENOUGH... both Bunny Mommy and Bunny Daddy workeded late all this week AND are going to see this Bob Dee-lan fellow on Thursday. Who is this guy?? Is he famous or something? Bunny Daddy says the opening band has a song all about me and him. It still doesn't make me happy. *Disapproving Look*

Binkies to everyone who sent such nice notes this week. I am definitely back to normal now which makes Bunny Mommy and Daddy very happy.

So I've got some responses on all your questions and stuff.

The forbidden room number 1 has LOTS of light and a big mirror that i just love. I'm not allowed to go in there because there are sooper wires that let water go through them and if I chewed those I'd be in big trouble. There IS a forbidden room number 2. That's where Bunny Mommy and Daddy sleep. I got in there once and went straight under the bed and wouldn't come out (ok so maybe it was low and I was a little scared.) Then Daddy has coax me out and that's never good. I made it in there twice recently though, so I'm pretty slick. Daddy only caught me running in once. Hee hee hee.

Orlando, thank you for teleporting, that was very nice!!!! Bunny Mommy and Daddy were very attentive, though. And Bunny Mommy said it was very sweet of you to come all the way from California to visit me. She said that next time you should tell her when you're coming so she can leave some greens for you.

On the Mend

Hi everyone, I think that party must have tuckered me out on Saturday! Yesterday I felt very sluggish and I didn't eat my dinner or drink any water and my parents were very worried about me because buns aren't allowed to go without eating or drinking. I even let Bunny Daddy hold me and Bunny Mommy rub my tummy so you know I didn't feel good. But they started talking to me about going to the vet so I made myself get better. Tonight I'm back to Bunny 500's and a few binkies to show my parents I don't have to go to the vet (even though my vet is very nice). Bunny Daddy even let me go into Forbidden Room Number 1!!!!!

Hi everyone,

If you have a Gotcha Day or Purthday (like me) in November be sure to head over to Smeagol and Strider's house cause they are having a party! They have lots of yummies for all different aminimals and SO many toys for us to play with. Their parents are super nice for giving everyone run of the house. And I gotta say thanks to everyone concerned about my grounding. Bunny Mommy felt all guilty for grounding me so it didn't last long. Hee hee hee.

Even though I am grounded (boy, did I make my Bunny Mommy mad!) she let me get dressed up for Halloween because it's one of her favorite days of the year. Bunny Daddy helped her find this costume on the internet. They said it was perfect for me because I am quite often a "silly monkey." Plus I am holding a banana and you all know how much I love bananas. Have a very happy trick or treat day!!!

Bunny Mommy says thank you for your messages that she did very well on her test. She was very happy.. so happy she slept 11 hours that night. That doesn't sound right, does it?

Now onto me. My special spot on my back is growing in nicely and is now heart-shaped so I guess it's not so bad anymore. It is starting to get a big chilly here in New York City (as of this afternoon) so it's good that my coat is growing back in, I'll need it!
