What is this snow?

I have never seen snow before! So you can imagine my excitement when early this morning I awoke to these little white things falling from the sky! Sometimes New York can be dirty but I knew this wasn't dirt fluttering around. Bunny Mommy says I'm not allowed to play in the snow because there are too many dogs around and it might be dangerous, but I'm hoping she'll at least bring a snowball inside so I can smell it. Does anybody else know what snow smells like? I'm very interested to know!
